Jim’s passion for continuous strategic improvement and ability to focus priorities has grown through experiences helping organizations from a broad spectrum of industries change processes, talent and technology to enable their vision and strategies. Jim co-founded Penstock and served as its acting President from 2020 – 2021. Now, as an acting advisor of Penstock—and Chief Financial Officer at its parent company, Goodroot—Jim assists in driving growth, scalability, and enhancing the client experience.
Prior to joining Penstock and the Goodroot community, Jim served as the North American Controller at Stanley Black and Decker. Here, he spearheaded BPO efforts and was integral to the acquisition integration of accounting processes, notably during Stanley’s amalgamation with Black & Decker. His extensive experience also includes a partnership in BlumShapiro’s CFO Advisory practice and its Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) group.
